VSA Inc. Wins Beyond the Glass Ceiling Award

Generating B2B Sales Leads Contributes to VSA's Growth and Recognition

VSA Inc. has been selected as the 2015 Company of the Year by The National Association of Women Business Owners, South Jersey chapter (NAWBO SJ).  Valerie Schlitt, founder and president, will accept the award at the Beyond the Glass Ceiling Awards Gala, held on February 19 at The Mansion in Voorhees, NJ.

Hosted by NAWBO SJ, the awards gala is a fundraiser dinner program that honors extraordinary individuals for their contributions to women and women business owners, as well as their commitment to excellence and community.  VSA will be recognized along with several other companies and individuals of distinction.

"We have not lost our family-room feel," Schlitt says, "but we have incorporated technology, processes management practices and metrics that enable us to serve the most complex clients and the most complex markets."

“On behalf of our entire company, I am just thrilled to receive this award,” says Schlitt. “The VSA team works tirelessly for our clients.  To be recognized by NAWBO alongside such outstanding company gives me great pride.  I respect the NAWBO organization and stand behind its mission.”

VSA has helped hundreds of companies across the country increase sales by delivering highly qualified business leads. “Many clients hire us to give them a behind-the-scenes competitive advantage,” Schlitt said.

VSA does what most people don’t have the time, patience or know-how to do.  They make business-to-business cold calls and set sales appointments.  The company has a local staff of 35 who serve as extensions of their clients’ teams nationwide.

Schlitt launched VSA in 2001 from her Haddonfield family room.  The business grew when local business colleagues realized VSA had a team of individuals to make sales calls and set sales appointments.  Now, in 2015, VSA occupies two floors of a professional office building.  The firm’s clients are no longer small, local businesses but rather companies of all sizes, across multiple industries and geographic areas – including some firms headquartered overseas.

“We have not lost our family-room feel,” Schlitt says, “but we have incorporated technology, processes management practices and metrics that enable us to serve the most complex clients and the most complex markets.”
